Informativa sulla privacy

This page explains, in plain language, what Mindelo Life collects and does not collect. The short version: no account is needed to browse; we collect as little as the features allow; we do not sell data and we run no advertising trackers.

What we collect

Browsing: no account and no personal data are required to use the guide. Your language choice is stored in a small cookie (ml_locale) so pages open in your language next time.

Contributions: if you submit an event tip, report a listing, or sign in as a contributor, we process what you type (event details, the optional contact email, uploaded poster images) and your account email for sign-in. Contributors manage or cancel their submissions from the dashboard.

Server operations: requests are served on Cloudflare infrastructure, which keeps operational logs for security and abuse prevention.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless and privacy-first counter. It cannot be used to follow you across other sites and stores no advertising profiles.

Translations

Portuguese is reviewed by human editors. Other languages (NL, DE, IT, ES, FR) are machine-assisted and may be imperfect; the English and Portuguese versions of every page are authoritative.

Your content and your data

By submitting a tip, event or photo you confirm you have the right to share it and allow us to publish it in the guide (with credit, where applicable). Editors can edit, reject or remove submissions.
